This page is to permit easier ability to sign up for events. As well as make it easier to communicate with parents what it is you’re doing as well as dates and times of such events.
Cadets are reminded that you are an extension of the program and to conduct yourself appropriately while out poppying. Stand! Don’t lean, sit on the ground or on window ledges etc. Don’t be on your cell phone. If you need to use the heads, leave the poppy box at the front with another cadet. Don’t buy anything while you’re out, the perception is that you have taken money from the box, even if you haven’t. Only ask people going in if you’re on the same in/out door, open doors for people it helps pass the time. If you think its cold or hard – think of those that were in worse conditions during war time with no break from the cold and discomfort.
If you have any problems with people bothering you – go inside and call the number on the poppy box with your cell phone or ask an employee of your location to assist you.
