Tag Days Round #2 – Friday Night
March 27 @ 17:00 - 21:00
The cadet program is absolutely free to all cadets for mandatory training and issued uniform parts. The unit is able to provide this based on contributions from the Brant United Way as well as tag day collections. The Tag Day collections are the main source of income to pay for the buildings overhead, such as water, hydro, maintenance etc. Extra funds are used to support/augment the Navy League and Sea Cadets training programs. This is also another way for us to be seen in the community as well as recruit new cadets for the unit.
Help from parents in the building, to finding locations to tag, and drivers for dropping cadets off would be greatly appreciated. Please speak with the Branch President Sandy Philpot regarding anyways you maybe able to assist.
All drivers will be put in a draw for a $50 gas card for driving. The more shifts you drive the more chances you have at winning the $50 gas card!
All cadets please arrive in your C1’s (Tunic, Gunshirt, Pants, Boots, White Cap, etc.) Don’t forget your parkas, and mittens in event it is cold. You will be outside for a few hours. (Those without parkas, please bring/wear your civilian coat) We may have a few parkas to distribute this weekend!
